The Old Art Room Studio needs Volunteers, Work Experience and Artists in Residence (AIR) to keep the studio exciting, fresh and to offer opportunities of sharing and experiencing art in a busy working studio. We are able to share skills, ideas and energy to create, make, share and show art.

A great place to work towards Duke of Edinburgh Award Skills.

We can offer you a safe environment to share your time, skills in exchange, learn new ones, and gain confidence and a reference for your practice. The positions include interaction with the public via your art practice and participation in studio sessions in a multi-skilled studio.

We love recycling of materials and equipment in the studio.

*The opportunity to take part in a Six Week Apprenticeship.
As a Business you can sponsor a position or an individual can apply for an Appreticeship in the studio.
Please contact for more information.

Our first Apprenticship was sponsored by Lee Johnson, Simply One.Ltd at Dereham and our first Apprentice is Emily Jackman:)). Emily Started in March 2018.
